How is the discount applied?
The discount is subtracted from the original price first. Any sales tax is then calculated based on this reduced "Sale Price".
Is my financial data stored?
Never. ToolXero operates entirely on the client-side. The values you enter are processed by your browser's JavaScript engine and never touch our servers.
Can I use multiple discounts?
Yes — use the "Extra Coupon" field. Stacked discounts apply sequentially (20% then 10% = 28% total, not 30%), exactly like at the register, and the effective total percentage is shown live.
Rounding rules
We use standard currency rounding with the correct number of decimals per currency — two for most, none for JPY or FCFA. Formatting follows each currency's own conventions.
