Absolutely. ToolXero processes all information directly in your browser. We never transmit your business or client details to our servers. The PDF is generated locally using client-side JavaScript.
Why is my business info already filled in when I come back?expand_more
Your "From" details, logo, currency and tax rate are saved in your browser's local storage — on your device only, never on a server. The invoice number also auto-increments from your last download. Use the reset icon in the "From" card to erase everything.
How does PDF export work?expand_more
When you click "Download PDF", we use a library called jsPDF combined with html2canvas to capture your invoice and render it into an A4 document instantly. Long invoices are automatically split across multiple pages.
Which currencies are supported?expand_more
20 currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, FCFA (XOF/XAF), NGN, INR, BRL and more — each formatted with the correct symbol position, thousands separators and decimals (e.g. JPY and FCFA have no cents). You can also enter a custom symbol for any other currency.
