Common Questions
security Is my PDF safe?
Absolutely. Unlike other converters, ToolXero uses WebAssembly to render your PDF directly in your browser. No data is sent to any server, ensuring 100% privacy for sensitive documents.
aspect_ratio What DPI should I choose?
Use 150 DPI for fast web sharing, 300 DPI for standard professional documents, and 600 DPI for high-quality printing or archival purposes.
memory Does it support large files?
Files up to 50MB are supported — larger files are rejected up front so you don't wait through a conversion that's likely to fail. Performance still depends on your device's RAM and CPU, since all rendering happens locally.
photo_library Why JPG vs PNG?
JPG is best for smaller file sizes and complex photos. PNG is better if your PDF has transparency or if you need absolute lossless quality for text and sharp graphics.
filter_list Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Switch to Custom Range in the settings panel and enter a start and end page — useful for large documents when you only need a handful of pages as images.
replay What if a page fails to convert?
The rest of the document still converts normally. Any page that fails is listed after conversion, and you can retry just those pages without redoing the whole document.
